Our conference venue is an open-plan space that is easily arranged to meet your needs. Your delegates will love this unique conference venue with its trendy décor and countryside views.

The tranquility guests enjoy at The Styling Shed means you really can focus on the task at hand. From guinea fowl and ducks, to horses and views, your delegates will appreciate this elegant, winelands escape from the corporate boardroom.

Our venue is suitable for conferences with up to 35 guests. You’ll enjoy exclusive use, with plenty of parking and Wi-Fi . We have air conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter – we even have a fire place that adds an extra touch of ambiance for the rainy, winter days in the Cape.

The décor is inspired by the plants around us, with wallpaper prints in lush botanicals and hanging plants. The crisp white interior is softened by our rustic foyer and stylish lounge area. Glass doors open onto an inviting veranda and green lawns where delegates can enjoy after work drinks.

We have an assortment of packages to meet your needs. From half to full day packages, to options that include post-conference snacks and drinks, we’re sure you’ll find something that suits! And if you’d like a customised conference experience, we’d love to create that for you, too.

Our packages are charged per person, and allow you a variety of choices around the kind of beverages and meals you’d like to make your conference a success.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tell me about the catering…

We offer our own in-house catering service by the amazing team from Two Chefs. Each package comes with a specific menu, but we can happily tailor a menu to suit your needs. The menu needs to be confirmed 10 days prior to your conference. And yes, we can arrange for guests who have kosher or halal requirements.

Are you licensed to sell alcohol?

We are pleased to offer a fully licensed bar. You may bring in your own wine, at a corkage fee of R25 per 750ml bottle. All other beverages must be ordered through us. There’s a one-time bar set-up fee, and this includes: a bar person for the duration of the event (excluding overtime), ice, water jugs, bar glassware and wine coolers.

Do you have AV equipment?

We don’t, but we can refer you to a supplier if you’d like one.

What happens if there’s a power outage?

Unfortunately, none of us can control when load shedding will happen; however, if you’d like to plan for this, you’re welcome to bring in a generator. We can refer you to suppliers.

What happens if we accidentally break something?

We charge a small refundable deposit for breakages. The deposit will be refunded within two weeks if there were no breakages.

What about smoking?

Smoking is not permitted in The Styling Shed, but guests are welcome to smoke outside. Please let us know if you need ashtrays.

Oh dear, we need to cancel our conference!

We understand that this happens. Unfortunately, the venue hire fee is non-refundable.

What should I know about going overtime?

In the event that you do go overtime, an additional cost will be charged per hour (or portion of an hour) thereafter. Contact us for our current rates.

I need to get in to set up the day before. Can I?

Yes, you’re welcome to, provided you’ve booked this beforehand and received confirmation from us, in writing, 10 days prior. We charge a small fee, outlined in our packages. We have two time slots, please choose one: 09:00 – 13:00 or 12:00 – 16:00.
